- Delphion Intellectual Property Network (IBM) The world’s most popular online destination for researching patents.
- SurfIP Based in Singapore. "A vertical portal that offers convenient access to multiple sources in one search operation." Search European Patent Office, UK Patent Office, World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and USPTO.
- USPTO The USPTO Patent database has full-text searching capabilities and you can view the full-text and images of patents.
- LexisNexis Academic Universe Search U.S. patents full-text back to 1971. In file Legal Research -> Patent Research.
