What are Course Reserves?

Course Reserves Support at the Caltech Library is a service that assists faculty in making course material available to students. Course reserves can be made available to students in two ways:

  1. Print Reserves (Books) - faculty can place books on reserve through Adopt a Text (For periods when Adopt a text is closed, contact sflreserves@library.caltech.edu for reserve requests).  For other problems or questions regarding Adopt a text, please email fgoss@caltech.edu.
  1. Electronic Reserves (e-Reserves) - Journal articles, book chapters/selections, course notes, or other materials can be placed on electronic reserve.  The library will provide an electronic link to the e-reserve for faculty to use in the syllabus or course management page
